What should an SME prepare to outsource payroll?
Define employee count, payroll frequency, approval owners and payroll-input timing. Individual employee information is shared after agreement through a suitable channel, never through the public form.
What to prepare
- Identify input collection and approval owners
- Describe contracts and variable types without names at first contact
- Reconcile the last period and cumulative figures before handover
- Review affiliation and completed declarations
How do you avoid misunderstandings?
Separate payslips, social declarations, payroll-related tax returns and payments. Agree corrections and evidence retention. The employer retains employment decisions and data approval; outsourcing does not automatically transfer all responsibilities.
